It's officially acceptable to start thinking about Christmas.

And to make things super easy (and super ethical!) for you, we've put together our definitive Sustainable Christmas Gift Guide. We've hand-picked an array of different gift ideas, all from brands we love which share our values.

So this year you can spread the love and goodwill and all of that lovely stuff far and wide, by choosing gifts that can have a global impact.

PLUS, in anticipation that you're going to want them ALL for yourself (yes, they're THAT good!) you can also enter to WIN the Gift Guide. Find out how below.

1. Sweet Beginnings Candle by M&J London

Luxury candle brand M&J London was created by founder Jennifer McNabb, influenced by her love of travel and by bustling life in London. After years of working in London as a fashion designer, she became increasingly dissatisfied with the effects of "fast fashion" on the environment. She decided to set up M&J London in order to build a business where ethical practices, sustainability and quality are the fundamental building blocks.

Not only are the candles hand-poured, and made from 100% rainforest safe soya, a renewable green resource, but they come in 100% recycled glass holders, packaged in responsibly sourced World Land Trust certified cardboard. The brand also donates a portion of the profit from each candle to women's charity Nia, a vital resource which supports women who have experienced domestic violence.

This scented candle, Sweet Beginnings, is about the thrill of embarking on a new chapter in life – whether falling into a new love and discovering a new person or embarking on the adventure and excitement of moving to a new place. Scented with Lavender, Manuka Honey & Cocoa, Sweet Beginnings "recalls those days when even going to the grocery store could feel exotic with all the strange and unfamiliar products and brands to building your own routines and traditions with a new partner. It evokes those heady, intoxicating days when everything looks sharper and tastes sweeter – when even the most seemingly ordinary routines can feel like extraordinary experiences." - the perfect Christmas gift for someone starting the New Year with a Sweet Beginning.

3. Asha Recycled Sunglasses by Pala

PALA is on a mission to put an end to poverty, to protect the planet and to enable all people to enjoy peace and prosperity. This mission is at the heart of everything they do. From the products they make, the materials they use, the business practices they employ to the partners they select to work with. Pala gives a pair of spectacles for every pair sold, and their sustainable cases are woven from recycled plastic bags and waste.

This Asha frame is made from recycled black acetate. The acetate is produced from off-cut materials used in the manufacture of other frames which are then melted down to create this pair. The frame is two-tone with matt silhouettes and gloss temples and is matched with smoke graduated lens.

Asha means ‘life’ in Swahili, which is appropriate as these pieces are breathing new life into plastic otherwise destined for landfill. The lenses offer 100% UVA protection. The frames can also be used with prescription lenses through your local optician.

11. Deluxe Travel Set by BY SARAH LONDON

Two sisters, Sarah and Lauren, launched BY SARAH, a brand with a bold and empowering mission of bringing greater clarity, authenticity and simplicity to skin care. Sarah’s inspiration and motivation to revolutionize skin care began with her sister, Lauren’s recovery from leukaemia in 2012. While searching for gentle, non-toxic, natural and organic products - those that would soothe and nourish Lauren’s sensitive skin - she found a problem. It was almost impossible to tell what was in the products. Even many natural and organic ranges had long, cryptic ingredient lists and often confusing and misleading labelling.

Sarah took matters into her own hands, literally! With her knowledge of working in the skincare industry and her child-hood passion for skincare, she hand-crafted her own blends from carefully-curated, organic and sustainably-sourced plant-based ingredients. Her skincare was not only enjoyed by Lauren but was effective and highly sought after by friends and family too - and the seeds of BY SARAH LONDON were born.

As Sarah refined her blends over the years, Lauren made a full recovery from leukaemia (with Sarah as her stem cell donor) and the sisters joined forces to launch. BY SARAH LONDON is the only UK skincare collection with the full list of ingredients on the front label across the entire collection. This pioneering initiative is to help you know exactly what you’re putting on your skin.

Made from the highest-quality natural and organic, plant-based oils, salts and clays from the earth and seas, the brand's plant-based ingredients are certified-organic by The Soil Association.

This Christmas, take the stress out of travelling by gifting these BY SARAH skincare favourites. The high-performing, hand luggage-friendly set includes the award-winning Organic Facial Oil (10ml), Organic Lip Balm (5ml), Green Clay Cleansing Balm (15ml) and Organic Muslin Facial Cloth. With only the finest all-natural and certified-organic, plant based ingredients, this is the perfect gift for the eco-conscious traveller in the family or your jet setting friend!

12. Stardust Waterproof Cosmetics Bag by Nikki Strange

Nikki Strange started her brand after a late evening of painting in her bedroom, when she got an impulse to set-up an Etsy shop, listing a few of her designs. To her disbelief, the range sold out within the week and saw the start of something rather special that would grow into an internationally sold accessories label.

All her stationery & accessories are made in the UK, using a range of independent & trusted manufacturers. She also uses recycled paper and vegetable inks in the making of as many of her products as possible and most are packaged in biodegradable cellophane film, made from vegetable starch or recycled tissue paper.

This waterproof bag is from a new range of travel pouches / cosmetic bags and is really useful for storing your makeup, or carrying accessories & pens. The illustrated design is is inspired by celestial skies, featuring a sky scape of scattered stars and rose gold moons.

14. Love Always Wins Vest by Lawrenson

Here at Lawrenson, we are passionate about the environment as well as the quality and sustainability of our pieces. Our fierce slogan T-shirts are ethically produced using Organic and recycled fabrics. We ensures that respectful choices are made when it comes to sourcing and garment production, always keeping the environment and garment industry workers in mind.

Dissatisfied by the culture in which women are often largely celebrated and judged by appearance alone, Lawrenson is determined to stimulate conversation, provoke a change in perspectives, and above all, encourage women and girls to be who they are meant to be and fulfil their potential.

Our bold slogan T-shirts communicate the brand ethos, with the desire to empower and inspire through cheeky, feisty quotes, in brazen metallics and conspicuous prints. Each design has been created with a unique concept in mind, which can be explored in more detail on its product page on the brand website.

This printed statement slogan vest in metallic pink foil print is made from 50% Organic Cotton, and 50% Tencel, a sustainable plant fibre. It has been manufactured solely using renewable green energy from wind and solar power.

It's not hard to see that we're surrounded by a lot of negativity in this world. From the blatant, horrific, inhumane activity we see across the globe, to the day-to-day little dramas and struggles in life, it can so often all seem a bit hopeless. This slogan print vest is a bold statement. And we've chosen to print it in bold colours to really help get the message home. Love. Always. Wins.
